Road Trip

Home!!

Plenty of events this week. Spring is in full swing!
Makeup Game to be added: 4/1, Baseball at Greeneville, 5/7pm.

We competed at the Hardin Valley Invitational this week, and it was one of those meets that really tested us. With cold temperatures and strong winds all day, nothing came easy. Our group stayed focused, competed hard, and didn’t let the conditions slow them down!
We had some great individual performances and strong finishes throughout the meet:
Daniel Miller 400m PR 54.31
Azlee Keck 400m PR 1:08.13
Gracie Christian 3200m PR 12:21.77
Jeremiah Jones finished 3rd in the Triple Jump with a mark of 42-5.50
Shoutout to everyone who competed and gave great effort in tough conditions. Days like this build toughness and set the tone for the rest of the season. We are proud of the way we showed up and represented! 💙🧡

This group of students has put in so much time and effort into livestock judging. We kicked things off at the Bob Moncier Livestock Judging Contest at Three Bulls Farm on March 6 and wrapped up at the Roane State Expo Center on March 26.
Livestock judging takes practice, confidence, and the ability to think critically. This group showed determination, represented our chapter well, and continued to grow with each experience.

A huge congratulations to Makenna Dalton, Timber McLain, and Madison Morelock for earning their State FFA Degrees! This is a major accomplishment that reflects years of commitment to their SAE projects. To earn this degree, members must demonstrate significant investment and growth in their supervised agricultural experience, complete numerous hours of agricultural education and FFA involvement, and show leadership through activities and service.

We are so proud of our students for putting their learning into action! 👏🔥
Today, our Teaching as a Profession students, led by Mrs. Ashley Singleton, partnered with our Fire Science students, led by Mr. John Murnane, to deliver fire safety lessons at CHMS.
TAP students observed a Fire Science class, collaborated to identify key fire safety concepts, and designed engaging lesson plans and presentations...then took that learning straight to middle school students.
This is what real-world learning looks like: collaboration, application, and impact. We love seeing our CTE programs work together to create meaningful experiences for students in our community! 💙🧡

What an incredible experience at the 98th Annual State FFA Convention!
Our students represented our chapter so well as they competed in Environmental & Natural Resources, Farm Business Management, and Quiz Bowl.
As a chapter, we were honored to receive the Superior Chapter Award. Throughout the convention, we attended general sessions, educational sessions, competed in events, connected with other chapters, and celebrated the achievements of FFA members from across the state.
Thank you to our supportive parents, administration, chaperones, and community for always encouraging and believing in our students. We couldn’t do it without you!
I couldn’t be more proud of this group and all they’ve accomplished. The future of agriculture is in great hands!
